Lesson plans generated from what is outside right now
A lesson plan written in July rarely matches what is flying in April. These are assembled from your area's actual species list, the season, and the weather, so the plan and the walk agree with each other.
The shape of one lesson
Every lesson is the same four moves, which is what makes it open-and-go:
- A field task — something specific to find or watch for today
- A short reading at the child's learning band
- A check for understanding, three to five questions
- A stewardship action, photographed to count
Weather and season aware
The dashboard reads local conditions and time of day, so the suggested task on a cold wet morning is not the same as the one on a warm evening. Fewer abandoned plans, less guilt.
Games as review, not filler
Eight timed learning games — classification, food webs, habitats, silhouettes, memory, and tracing — run as review against the species your child has actually collected, so recall practice stays tied to real finds.

Can I plan a week ahead?
Yes. Field Missions lists open adventures, missions, and challenges so you can pick the week's targets on Sunday.
What if we miss a week?
Nothing expires and nothing scolds. The hours log simply shows the weeks you were out.
